How To Develop Black and White Film

Why Film

I can take some pretty amazing photos with my phone. Why would I want to go through the hassle of purchasing film, using a 40 year old slr camera, developing my film and eventually scanning on to my computer for further processing?? There's benefits to shooting film in the digital age. I'm going to walk you through why on this site.

My Journey in Film

I've worked as a professional photographer for a couple years now. There was alway something visual lacking in what I saw online. I grew up with the cheap Kodak Color Gold disposable cameras. There's something about he look of old photographs that have a timelessness to them. With a cellphone there's no stakes in taking the photo. There's risk throughout the whole process of using a disposable camera.

You really didn't know what photo you were going to get. You were limited to 36 exposures and you had to wait to see your photos. This made each moment captured more meaningful.
